Liberty in Myanmar Inc is a Michigan 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 88‑2160162) operating publicly under the name Light of Burma. References below to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Liberty in Myanmar Inc.
Donations made through this site are processed by Givebutter, a third‑party giving platform. When you give, you are also accepting Givebutter's terms for the payment portion of the transaction.
Gifts to Liberty in Myanmar Inc are tax‑deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law. We will email you a receipt that you can use for tax purposes; you should keep that receipt with your records.
If you set up a recurring gift, you can cancel or change it at any time through your Givebutter account, or by emailing us at hello@lightofburma.org. If you make a one‑time gift in error and would like a refund, please contact us within 30 days and we will work with you.
You may use this website for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You agree not to interfere with the operation of the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape or harvest content for commercial use, or use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages.
The text, design, and original imagery on this site are owned by Liberty in Myanmar Inc and are protected by copyright. Photographs of partner programs are used with the permission of the local partners and the families involved. The names Light of Burma and Liberty in Myanmar are used by us in connection with our charitable work.
You are welcome to share links to our pages and to quote brief portions of our content for personal, journalistic, or educational use with attribution. Other reuse requires our written permission — please ask.
This site is hosted by Netlify, uses fonts from Google Fonts, and embeds the Givebutter donation widget on the giving page. Your interactions with those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Cost figures and program descriptions are based on partner reporting and are illustrative; actual costs and outcomes vary by site and year.
